DAY 12

Palm Cove

Went for a day trip up to Opal Cove for morning tea, then onto Port Douglas for lunch then to Mossmon Gorge to walk off what we had eaten.  Decided we should call ourselves the Nomad Gourmet Travellers.  Mossmon Gorge was very different from the last time we were here.  You had to leave your car a couple of klm and take a courtsey bus the rest of the way.  It seems to be an aboriginal heritage area.  Lots of walking tracks and viewing spots.  Really lovely. The only negative thing of the day is that I have lost my perscription glasses.  What a pain.
