Starting the Journey (4th try)

Day 1
This is my last attempt don't ask me what I am doing but I keep losing what I have already done.  Ok we left Berkeley Vale about 6.30 stopping at Bulladelah for breaky.  The onto Nambucca for lunch arriving at Grafton around 4.30p.m.
Day 2

Girawee National Pk

Left Grafton around 10.30 stopping at Ellangowan Forest Reserve for morning tea and onto Drake for lunch.  The countryside is rather dry although it is lovely having so much space around you.  Stopped at Girraween National Park for our first real night away.  The park is lovely and it was great waking up to Kangaroos just outside your door. (well nearly outside your door)
Day 3

Archers Crossing

Great Amenities

Left beautiful Girraween stopping at Dalby for lunch and then onto Archers Crossing for the night. This is our first free camping site so far and its great.  The amenities could be better.  John, Graeme and Carol got their first paddle of the trip while Di &I went out looking for firewood for our first open fire.
